Lavras

The ISRTB 2027 will take place at the UFLA Events Center.

The city of Lavras is located at the confluence of southern and western Minas Gerais, at an average altitude of 900 m, with an approximate population of 100,000 inhabitants. Besides offering excellent climatic conditions, the city has all the resources indispensable to a modern urban center. It has been elected the most peaceful city in the state of Minas Gerais.

The city is located 237 km from Belo Horizonte, 380 km from São Paulo and 425 km from Rio de Janeiro, and is close to several tourist attractions such as waterfalls, historical cities, the water circuit and many other ecotourism experiences. Recreational attractions include the Quedas do Rio Bonito Forest Park, the Funil Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Country Club, the Lavras Tennis Club, the Camargos Yacht Club, and the Itutinga Power Plant. Also noteworthy are the Municipal Theater (former railway station), the Rosário Church, and the Bi Moreira Museum as historical attractions, and the Handicraft Fair, held on Sundays in the city's main square.
